ONLINE: Video for Flash, Mastering the Encoding Process: Robert will conduct this two-hour online Acrobat Connect seminar on October 24, 2008, from 10am to 12pm Pacific time. This seminar distills the essentials from Robert's full day encoding workshop. Learn the essential factors of video compression with codecs available in Flash Player 9.0.115 (Update 3) and higher, including profile differences with the AVC/H.264 set (Base, Main, and High) as well as On2 VP6-E and VP6-S. All demonstration files will be available for download before and after the seminar. Attendees have the option to receive a 20-question test after the seminar, and a downloadable printable certificate of completion will be available for attendees with passing test scores. ONLINE: Video for Flash, Mastering the Deployment Process: Robert will conduct this two-hour online Acrobat Connect seminar on October 24, 2008, from 1pm to 3pm Pacific time. This seminar distills the essentials from Robert's full day video deployment workshop. Learn how to deploy video for Flash over HTTP and RTMP, using custom players as well as the FLVPlayback component in ActionScript 3.0. Attendees will also learn how to integrate multiple bitrates over streaming connections and how to implement a dual-buffering strategy. All demonstration files will be available for download before and after the seminar.
